How to reach us - the Studentenwerk Gießen!

We are located next to the Große Mensa (our large cafeteria), near the Philosophikum and the university library!

Arrival by bus

From the Gießen Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) take either bus line number 2 or 5 to Berlinerplatz. There you will change buses; get in the 801 (direction Wettenberg-Wißmar) and exit at the Ostschule stop. From the bus stop you will need to walk circa 5 minutes to us.

Tip: If you are coming from our residence hall Unterhof, use bus line 10 (weekdays only). It will take you directly to the university complex, bus stop Rathenauer Straße, near which we are located. For those traveling from Eichendorffring, take the number 2 to Graudenzer Straße bus stop. After crossing the street, follow Graudenzer Straße about 10 minutes to the Studentenwerk.
