The Student Residence Halls

All rooms come furnished with a bed, desk, chair, cabinets and shelves. Lavatories, showers and kitchens are normally shared with other students. If you prefer living alone, the Studentenwerk Gießen also offers single apartments, double apartments and family housing to students, although these rooms are fewer in number and more difficult to come by.

Application for a placement in a residence hall
If you like to live in one of our residence halls, you should apply for a room using our application form below, at best before your arrival. Just download the form from the internet, fill it in completely and then sent it to our Housing Department (Wohnheimverwaltung).
