Studienkolleg (Preparatory College)
The Studienkolleg, a sort of preparatory college, prepares international students without .direct university admission. for their studies at a German university. Generally, students spend two semesters at a preparatory college. Upon successful completion of their Studienkolleg courses, students are required to pass the Feststellungsprüfung (assessment test for university admission), please see below for more information regarding this examination.
These preparatory colleges can be found throughout Germany; however, registration for these schools is taken care of by the university you would like to study at.
