Deregistration, Disenrollment at the University

Following the completion of your studies, or the transferring of universities or an interruption or withdrawal from your studies, you should disenroll yourself, or deregister yourself, from your university. Disenrolling/deregistering from the universities in Gießen, Friedberg and Fulda should be taken care of at the Registrar.s Office.

If you do not disenroll/deregister yourself from the university, you will be automatically deregistered/disenrolled by the Registrar.s Office at the beginning of the new semester, in the event that you have not reported back to the university regarding your enrollment for the next semester (zurückgemeldt).

Disenrollment forms are available on the university website for download or can be obtained in person at your university.s Registrar.s Office.
